Dino-Lite Iriscope MEDLW4R (wireless)
Product properties
The compact Dino-Lite IriScope (MEDLW4R) offers new possibilities in the field of iridology. The IriScope has two pairs of LEDs (2 x white / 2 x yellow) for illuminating the inside of the eye. The side lighting reduces both reflections in the image and the inconvenience of direct eye radiation. The yellow LEDs ensure better pictures with a dark iris. The images have a resolution of up to 1.3 megapixels. The MEDLW4R has compared with the standard Iriscope MEDL4R the additional wireless capability.
Wireless functionality and Apps
You can use this model both via USB cable (wired mode) or wirelessly (wireless mode). Depending on the desired operating mode, connect the appropriate one of the two included adapters to the microscope: either the one with the USB cable (wired) or the one with the WF-20 transmitter module (wireless).
The wireless adapter appears in the WLAN list of your smartphone or PC. Once connected to the WF-20, the Windows application (Dino Capture) or the iOS/Android app (Dino Connect) can control the microscope and capture images/videos.
The wireless adapter WF-20 is charged using the included USB cable - the built-in LED charging indicator constantly informs you about the current charging status.
Software functions
The Iriscope comes with the Dino Capture software. With Dino Capture you can take microscopic photos and video sequences at the push of a button and carry out measurements on the captured image (e.g. distances, areas, angles, etc.).
The iOS/Android apps (Dino Connect) are also included free of charge for wireless operation and can be downloaded from the Apple and Android stores.
Sample recording
The following video sequence was recorded with the wired Dino-Lite Iriscope MEDL4R (setting: white LEDs) using the supplied Dino Capture software.
